The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Contra Costa is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing outreach, education, support and advocacy to families and individuals in need of help dealing with mental illness. They have been assisting people and families affected by mental illness in Contra Costa for over 30 years. All of their programs are free so get involved today and help make a difference in your life, others' lives, and in the local community.

The mission of the Contra Costa Crisis Center is to keep people alive and safe, help them through crises, and provide or connect them with culturally relevant services in the community.

Mobile Crisis
Response Team
​
The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) provides professional, same-day intervention for adults who are experiencing mental health crises.
Call if the behavior is escalating, but the person has not physically harmed or tried to harm anyone during this incident. For example:

Threatening suicide

Severely depressed
-
Verbally threatening someone
-
Throwing objects or hitting furniture or walls
-
Threatening to run away
-
Could become a danger to themselves or others
If you aren’t sure what to do, call MCRT for advice.
8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Mon -Friday and Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

At Rogers Behavioral Health we have been helping people find a path to well-being for more than 100 years. Our San Francisco East Bay clinic, located in Walnut Creek, provides highly effective outpatient treatment and compassionate care for those struggling with mental health. Patients receive evidenced based, individualized treatment led by board certified psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team of experts. We are in network with most insurance companies making care affordable. Our clinic offers full day programs (PHP) and half day (IOP), Monday through Friday. We serve children, adolescents, and adults. Our treatment teams work together to determine length of stay based on individual progress and situations. Admission to all Rogers’ services begins with a free telephone screening. We look forward to being a resource for mental health services in our community.
